Jason and Matthew Goldman teamed up with Larry Colton to launch the insurance company G2, following the footsteps of their late grandfather Richard Goldman, the esteemed Bay Area philanthropist and founder of Goldman Insurance Services.
It started with a blank shell. G2 needed a workplace that was uniquely their own. They found their new office space in one of San Francisco’s historic landmarks, 140 New Montgomery, also known as the PacBell Building. The building interior had been stripped bare for a full seismic upgrade, which left a clean slate for designing an office with rich textures, modern details, and dramatic lighting. At the heart of the office is a large meeting room with color-changing lights and a sliding glass wall that retracts to create an open public space to host community events.
